Dr. Kerry W. Kirsch has been creating beautiful smiles for over 25 years! Born and raised locally in Nicktown, Dr. Kirsch attended St. Francis College where he received a BS degree in biology and chemistry. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry and then spent two years in the U.S. Navy as a dental officer. He returned to West Virginia University where he was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics.
Dr. Kirsch is a Board Certified Diplomat in the American Board of Orthodontics, which means he passed a voluntary special exam. Less than 25% of all orthodontists in the United States are diplomats.
He is also an assistant professor of Clinical Orthodontics at West Virginia University Department of Orthodontics where he lectures to the orthodontic residents as well as works with them and their patients in the clinic one day a month. He is active in many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, Pennsylvania Society of Orthodontists and the 7th District Dental Society, and has served as past president of the Cambria County Dental Society, a Representative to the Council on Membership and as a Trustee of the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr. Kirsch is also a "Grass Roots" representative of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Kirsch and his wife, Juliana, are the parents of four children and have five grandchildren. They reside in the Winterset area of Ebensburg. In his leisure time, he enjoys gardening, landscaping, hunting, fishing, hiking and bike riding as well as spending time with his grandchildren.
