Hours of Operation
![]() You will find our office clean and comfortable. We have a large selection of up to date magazines and a 55-gallon fish tank to amuse young and old. We also have toys and games for the kids. Our office is also highly computerized (since 1984). We can generate photos, x-rays, letters, etc. written in minutes, as they are needed. We can also use it as a diagnostic aid as well as for routine uses such as billing, etc. Service As an orthodontic team we take great pride in the service that we provide to our clients. A lot of time and effort has been spent developing a scheduling system that provides optimum efficiency. In over 90% of the time when you come to our office for a routine visit to have you braces adjusted, you will be in and out in less than 1/2 hour. How can we do that? Effective scheduling. You may notice that our receptionist, will only schedule you for your initial visit at either 8:30am, 11:15, or 2:00pm. Why no other times? Effective scheduling! This way you will not have to wait in our office for two hours just to have your braces adjusted. There are times when we have emergencies and there will be a slight backup. However, if everyone comes on time and we have no set backs, we are very efficient! We also pledge to provide a friendly and relaxing atmosphere where you will feel at home. I am at your service to handle emergencies 24 hours per day, seven days a week. My home phone number or my cell phone number is on the office answering machine so you may reach me at home or on the go. I will return your call as soon as possible. Experience See Our StaffTechnology Technology is the final aspect of our office pride. We use the most up to date technological advances available to an orthodontic office. For instance we will take two x-rays as part of your diagnostic records. Because we use high intensity film, "Rare Earth" screens and an up to date machine, the amount of radiation needed is about equivalent to 2-3 hours in front of a TV screen. Our computer program makes us capable of performing Visual Treatment Objectives. In other words, the computer allows us to see what your child's profile will look like if we extract teeth or if we don't extract teeth. We can also decide if the child will look better with the upper teeth pulled back, or the lower jaw brought forward, or a combination of both. All of this can be decided before a brace is ever placed. We also employ what I refer to as "High Velocity Orthodontics." I use the most up to date orthodontic materials and techniques to produce the fastest and most efficient movement of teeth while actually reducing patient discomfort. The end result is that you get your braces off sooner with fewer visits to our office and less discomfort to you. This approach will not cause any damage to your teeth and the teeth will be as stable as any other orthodontically moved tooth. Because of these technological advances most of our cases are treated out in 18 months or less. Ask any other orthodontic office how long it takes them to treat a case.We now offer The Invisalign Technique. Invisalign is a series of clear thin liners that will move the teeth without braces. Invisalign has a number of advantages in that you remove them to eat which means you can eat foods that you cannot eat with braces. You can also brush and floss your teeth much easier than with braces. However Invisalign is limited in the amount of correction that can be accomplished. Dr. Kirsch, at your initial visit will determine whether you will be a candidate for the Invisalign technique. We use an autoclave (steam and pressure) to sterilize our instruments between each use. Items that cannot be autoclaved are either disposable or cold sterilized. Gloves are always changed between patients. You may notice that we do not always wear masks and gowns in our office. Because we do not routinely use high-speed drills as your family dentist uses, we are not required by OSHA regulations to use masks or gowns for our protection. If any member of our staff is suffering from a cold, etc. we will be wearing masks for your protection. Benefits Preparing children for the real world means teaching them the importance of putting their best foot forward. Research indicates that upon meeting a new person, the single most memorable feature is a beautiful smile. There have been many psychological studies conducted with regards to the benefits of orthodontic treatment. Those who have had braces have higher academic standards, greater aspirations and goals and increased productivity. They get better jobs and more promotions. Their marriages even last longer. The reason for this change in attitude--Self-esteem. People who have had braces have a much higher self-esteem than those who do not have that winning smile. We can put your child on the path to a smile that opens doors. When you imagine their future, imagine a beautiful smile. |
