Dr. Kerry W. Kirsch was born and raised locally in Nicktown.  He attended St. Francis College where he received a BS degree in biology and chemistry.  He attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. degree.  He then spent two years in the U.S. Navy as a dental officer.  He returned to West Virginia University where he was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics.  Dr. Kirsch is also a Board Certified Diplomat in the American Board of Orthodontics, which means he passed a voluntary special exam.  Less than 25% of all orthodontists in the United States are diplomats.  

Dr. Kirsch has practiced orthodontics in the Ebensburg area for over 30 years.  He is also an assistant professor of Clinical Orthodontics at West Virginia University Department of Orthodontics where he lectures to the orthodontic residents as well as works with them and their patients in the clinic one day a month.  He also is the past President of the Cambria County Dental Society, a member of the 7th District Dental Society, a Representative to the Council on Membership of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and is a Trustee to the P.D.A.  Dr. Kirsch is also a "Grass Roots" representative of the American Dental Association.  Dr. Kirsch and his wife, Juliana, are the parents of four children and have four grandsons.  They reside in the Winterset area of Ebensburg.

Renee - Orthodontic Technician

QUALIFICATION:  Renee began as an Orthodontic Technician in 1978.  She is certified in Dental Radiology by the PA Board of Dental Examiners and also in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association.  She also has continued education by the Department of Health and OSHA.  Renee has also completed Lab training in the preparation and completion of our Indirect Bonding Technique.

EXPERIENCE:  Renee has worked in orthodontics since 1978, she has over 30 years as an orthodontic technician. Renee has also been an orthodontic patient.

Sue - Orthodontic Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:  Sue has been certified for radiology by the PA Board of Dental Examiners and also the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support.

EXPERIENCE:  Sue has worked in orthodontics since 1978. She has over 2
5 years as an Orthodontic Technician.

PERSONAL:  Sue is married and has three children and resides in the Altoona area.  Her hobbies are cross-stitching and sailing.

Carol - Orthodontic Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:  Carol began as an Orthodontic Technician in 1978.  She is certified in Dental Radiology by the PA Board of Dental Examiners and by the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support.  Carol also has had training in computer software for the office and Lab training for preparation of indirect bonding technique.

EXPERIENCE:  Carol has been employed by Dr. Kirsch since 1978 as an orthodontic technician. Carol has also been an orthodontic patient.

PERSONAL:  Carol is married and has two children and resides in the Northern Cambria area.

Mary Gail - Records Coordinator/Orthodontic Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:  Mary Gail has attended seminars on Computer Software Systems over the years.  These seminars have enabled her to stay on top of the latest techniques in our computer systems.  Mary Gail has also attended numerous seminars on OSHA regulations.   She has also attended a number of seminars offered by Penn State University on Clerical and Communication skills. Mary graduated from Penn Highlands with a Medical/Dental Office Specialist Diploma.   Mary Gail is also certified in Dental Radiology by the PA State Board of Dental Examiners and by the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support.

Mary Gail has been employed by Dr. Kirsch since 1975.  She has over 30 years of experience in the orthodontic field. Mary Gail has also been an orthodontic patient.

Patty - Financial Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:  Patty has an extensive background in the business world.  Patty has attended a number of seminars on financial and communication skills as well as a number of seminars offered by various dental insurance companies.  She also has her certification by the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support.

EXPERIENCE:  Patty has worked for Dr. Kirsch for over 25 years. She will work with you and your insurance to come up with the best possible payment plan wehn you or your child ne orthodontic treatment. Her experience as an orthodontic patient who had orthognathic surgery has enabled her to relate with other patients that may need this type of surgery.

Anthony Belgin - Laboratory Technician

QUALIFICATIONS:  Tony graduated 2nd  in his class of 48 as a Dental Specialist at the Brook Army Medical School at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.  He has attended seminars at Ohio State University on the fabrication and adjustment of Tempromandibular Joint Splints.  He has also attended Seminars on Indirect Bonding at the West Virginia University and St. Louis University.  He also spent time at Great Lakes Orthodontic Laboratories in Buffalo, NY, on the fabrication of orthodontic appliances and attended seminars in Fort Myers, FL, on the Alpern Technique of orthodontic correction. 

Tony is certified in Dental Radiology by the PA State Board of Dental Examiners as well as the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support.  Tony is also certified as a Clinical Orthodontic Technician by the Dental Assisting Board.

EXPERIENCE:  Tony has 32 years as an Orthodontic Technician and has been employed by Dr. Kirsch for 21 years.

PERSONAL:  Tony is married and has two children and lives in the Ebensburg area.  His hobbies include boating, hunting and fishing.
